EPF Youth Congress 2026
23 October - 24 October

EPF is pleased to invite your organisation to nominate and endorse 1 up to 2 (subject to availability) young patient advocates (18-29 years old) from your network to participate in the EPF Youth Congress 2026, which will take place in Brussels on 23–24 October 2026.
The European Patients’ Forum and the EPF Youth Group will host the first ever EPF Youth Congress in Brussels, bringing together young patient advocates, policy-makers, healthcare professionals, researchers and civil society representatives from across Europe.
The Congress will provide a space for discussion on the challenges affecting young people living with chronic conditions in a rapidly changing social, political and economic context. It will also focus on the role of young patients in shaping more inclusive, equitable and resilient health systems across Europe.
Hosted by the EPF Youth Group and EPF, the Youth Congress will create a unique space where young patients, young professionals, and decision-makers can learn from one another, challenge assumptions, and co-create solutions. Building on EPF’s longstanding commitment to youth engagement and on the experience gained through 10 editions of the Skills Training for Young Patient Advocates (STYPA), the Congress will offer participants the opportunity to:
- Engage directly with European and international policymakers and health stakeholders;
- Foster meaningful dialogue across sectors;
- Connect with peers and networks from across Europe; and
- Gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to participate in health policy and advocacy processes
