Meeting with Hon Ian Borg, Deputy Prim Minister and Minister for Health
A delegation of over 15 representatives of Health organisations, members of the Malta Health Network (MHN), met Hon Ian Borg, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health on the 13th August 2026. The delegation was let by Dr Gertrude Buttigieg, Chairperson of MHN who presented Hon Dr Borg with a position paper put together based on feedback from patient representative groups and professional associations. The common message is the need for a more equitable, person-centred, preventive and resilient health system that places patients, service users, families and communities at the centre of policy and service design.
