Employment and Pain

In Europe 1 there are approximately 740 million people 2 most of whom experience an episode
of severe pain at some point in their life. For approximately 20 percent, that pain is chronic
pain. This means that, at present, 150 million people are experiencing pain across Europe,
approximately equal to the population of France and Germany combined. In Malta research carried out by the Malta Health Network indicated that 1 in 5 adults suffers from Chronic Pain. See research results.

SIP Malta, under the Coordination of MHN and in collaboration with SIP Europe views the raising of awareness on Employment and Pain as very important.  In collaboration with SIP Europe we would like to invite all interested parties to participate in this webinar to discuss the impact of employment and Pain.

This event is being also supported by EU-OSHA and will be promoting newly launched campaign on #EUhealthyworkplaces Lighten the Load.
