DESCRIPTION:\n\nWorld Atopic Eczema Day \n\n\nMalta Eczema Society is proud to join World Atopic Eczema Day 2026! \n\n\nOn 14 September\, we will join the global atopic eczema community in raising awareness about the impact of atopic eczema and the many challenges that often remain unseen. \n\n\nAtopic eczema affects more than 230 million people worldwide\, yet it is still too often considered “just a rash”. In reality\, the condition can affect sleep\, emotional wellbeing\, school and work\, relationships\, family life and many other aspects of everyday living. \n\n\nThis year’s theme\, BreakTheInvisibleBurden\, aims to bring these hidden challenges into the spotlight and encourage greater understanding and support for people living with atopic eczema and their families. \n\n\nCome and meet us at Science in the City!\n\n\nAhead of World Atopic Eczema Day\, Malta Eczema Society\, together with Prohealth\, will be at Science in the City in Valletta on 13 September 2026. \n\n\nDate: 13 September 2026 \n\n\nTime: 10.15-11.15 am \n\n\nVenue: Science in the City – Valletta \n\n\nCome and meet us\, have a chat and find out more about atopic eczema\, its impact on daily life and the importance of good skin care and greater awareness. \n\n\nWhether you live with eczema yourself\, care for someone who does\, know somebody affected by the condition\, or simply want to learn more\, we would be very happy to meet you. \n\n\nThen\, on 14 September\, join us in marking World Atopic Eczema Day 2026 and help us spread an important message: \n\n\nEczema is more than what you can see. \n\n\n
