Description: Step up for Parkinson’s is a Voluntary Organisation that through the Support of the Malta Community Chest fund and the Malta Memorial District Nursing Association is able to give free specialized dance classes to people with Parkinson’s Disease. Natalie Muschamp, founder and chairperson of Step Up for Parkinsons will be presenting on ‘Improving the Quality of Life for Both the Person with Parkinson’s and the Caregiver: The Contribution of Movement as an Artistic and Expressive Medium’, Amy Dimech, Physiotherapist will be focusing in on exercises specified for Parkinson’s disease whereas Roberta Said, Speech Language Pathologist will be presenting on the importance of speech therapy with an introduction to LSVT. Kindly refer to attached biographies for a more detailed description of the presenters.
